Appearance

Aurora has long auburn hair, which she always has in a high ponytail, along with silver barrettes which form the roman numeral XXII, possibly referencing that the Fool Arcana is not only Arcana 0, but also Arcana 22 with the numbers increasing while going back to the first card after The World (Arcana 21). She has a pale complexion and striking red eyes. Her favourite colours seem to be red and orange, as most of her outfits compose of the same colour scheme.

At school and at Tartarus, she wears the Gekkoukan high blazer, a red ribbon tie, a neck strap MP3 player and brown loafers. On weekends and days off, she seems to wear a red scarf, a light orange sweater, a red plaid skirt, black leggings, and red boots (along with her earphones). During Summer time, she wears a white collared shirt, a red ribbon tie, her red MP3 player, and the school skirt. During the holidays in the summer, she wears a short-sleeved orange shirt over a red-and-white striped spaghetti strap top, a white skirt, and white sandals.

She is never seen without her earphones except in several events where such accessories would not be appropriate, such as the following: the beach excursion in Yakushima (where she wears a pink ribbon bikini), the Summer Festival in which she wears a yukata, the brief school trip in Kyoto in which she wears a bathrobe) as well as yukata, and the post-New Years celebration in the nearby Shrine (in which she wears an orange kimono and replaces the usual barrettes in her hair with pink and red flower barrettes).

When she was a young girl, she had short shoulder length auburn hair, wore a red elementary school uniform, a red ribbon, dark red skirt, white socks, and grey shoes.

P E R S O N A L I T Y

Aurora by nature is sweet and kind, she would always lend a helping hand to anyone who asks though she is not naive to be taken advantage of by anyone. She is very well loved by children and the elderly. Her schoolmates can vouch for her charm which does attract unwanted attention from some of the boys in school but she always treated them all the same way; as friends.
As a leader of SEES, she's responsible and would do her best to take great care of her teammates that it shattered her heart when Shinji died. The weight of someone's death was too much for her to bear as it slowly opened the lid that she had tightly kept closed for the past 10 years after the death of her parents.
Despite her happy, bubbly and cheerful personality; Aurora keeps her true emotions locked away inside that it would have eaten her from the inside if not for her friends. She would never complain about anything, it was a bad habit of hers due to how she was raised in multiple environments that were sometimes good and sometimes bad depending on the family that took her in but she had never spoken ill of them. Aurora is polite although blunt at times but she has never been someone to speak ill of another person regardless of whether its to their face or behind their backs.

History

Aurora had decided not to kill Ryoji back on New Year's Eve and the result of it was that they had to fight against Nyx. Everyone had decided to fight anyway but it was her decision that mattered most of all. She had thought about it long and hard before she came to the conclusion that fighting to protect her friends and everyone she knew was far stronger than her fear of dying. They trained hard in Tartarus, school life went on as usual but they kept on training each day so that they could reach the top most floor in time. They only have a month after all but none of them were scared, nervous perhaps and their bond with each other only grew stronger each day until finally January 31st soon approached and all that's left was to change the course of their fate.

The Shadows were getting more powerful at each level but so did the team which was only fair considering all of their Personas had awakened to a much stronger power with the exception of Aurora of course who had multiple Personas to begin with, being the wild card and all. They were at least powerful enough to ascend up the tower whilst defeating their enemies including Strega on the fated day. They were divided into teams because the final battle was between herself and Nyx. There was no way she would allow anyone else to get hurt and although she had defeated the Appriser, it was just not enough to stop Nyx from descending. The warped moon began to glow even more eerily with some people who were currently going through Apathy Syndrome was effected below as well, turning into more Shadows. The gravity push coming from the warped Moon above didn't allow them to get up and fight.

It was then that Igor summoned her back into the Velvet Room, telling her that it was time for her to abide by the contract. She wasn't scared nor was she worried, she could hear them. The bonds of friendship warmed her heart and gave birth to a new power that even Igor was surprised albeit amused by the whole ordeal. If she did truly have the power to save the world then she would take it without any hesitation. She opened her eyes and stood up to gaze above her at the warped Moon, her friends around her were shouting at her, shocked to see that she was able to move and concern because the brunette began to float up into the sky. Within Nyx there was nothing there but what looks to be the heart of everything. Just like earlier she felt the gravity pushing her down but because of her new power, it would not knock her out. Each member of SEES were cheering her on, she could hear them as clear as day in her head and just for a moment she heard someone so dear to her say her name as though he was right beside her telling her that he will never leave her alone.

And with that everything engulfed in a bright light. The Great Seal had fulfilled her purpose.

HEADCANON

☽ Aurora is of mixed blood; her father is of American and Japanese descent while her mother is full Japanese.
☽ Her father was a professor at a University and often gave lectures all over the nation while her mother was a kindergarten teacher.
☽ They lived in Tokyo and was in Tatsumi Port Island 10 years prior to the start of the game due to her father's work.
☽ Whilst there she befriended one of the local boys and played with him for a bit while waiting for her father to finish work. She promised to play with again in the future.
☽ The family of three only stayed there for the weekend and was on their way back when the accident happened.
☽ Her father died instantly from the impact while her mother tried her best to shield her daughter from the broken glass after which she too died from internal bleeding.
☽ Her cries was what attracted Aigis to use her as a vessel to seal off Death.
☽ From that point on, a part of her died with her parents but she choose to lock up those emotions behind her cheerful smile throughout the years.
☽ She was passed on from relative to relative, a few times she ended up in the orphanage.
☽ Her hair that was once short had been kept long till past her shoulder to resemble her late mother.
☽ The only momento she has of her parents were the hairpins that belonged to her mother that she wears everyday.
☽ She inherited her mother's beauty and her father's personality though her love for cooking and baking came from her mother.
☽ Her stubborn and persistent attitude came from her father though she is very considerate of others.
☽ Her love for desserts and parfaits came after the accident, it was her way of remembering her mother.
☽ During her time with SEES, her reason for fighting was never stated and she always dodged a bullet when it came to this talk.
☽ Although she did think that doing so would help people and protect others but really she didn't have a valid enough reason and this made her uneasy for the longest time.
☽ Her interactions with her friends from school and SEES was friendly and close but neither of them had ever heard her speak of her worries until Sakuya entered her life.
☽ As time went on she began to bottle up her feelings within herself behind her smile even more knowing that it would break her one day if she doesn't let it all out.
☽ She values attachment and she's good at making friends but she was not good at relying on others when she needs it most.
☽ The further she progressed in her journey, the heavier the weight on her shoulder became.
☽ In regards to Aurora's memory during the night her parents died, the loss of her parents and the fear of seeing a battle before her very eyes caused her to suppress every possible memory of that night and that 'Death' was sealed inside her tiny body.
